A JOYFUL NEW FAMILY MUSIC PROJECT CELEBRATING DISABILITY, NEURODIVERSITY, IDENTITY, AND INCLUSION- OUT JULY 10 

Award winning recording artist, author, and disability culture advocate Lachi will release her debut children’s album Magnificent on July 10 with Platoon Kids. The 10 song collection brings together pop, hip hop, R&B, and global rhythms in a colorful and joy-filled musical celebration inviting kids and families to embrace differences, celebrate who they are, and have fun doing it.

Magnificent bringing together more than seventy collaborators, many of which are artists, musicians, writers, and advocates with disabilities, neurodivergence, and other lived experiences, for a truly collaborative and community-driven project. Featured collaborators include 123 Andrés, Alphabet Rockers, Mega Ran, Lisa Loeb, Matthew Whitaker, Raul Midón, Mandy Harvey, Divinity Roxx, and dozens more. The album will have a companion curriculum from CEL’s The Nora Project, helping classrooms continue conversations around identity, inclusion, and belonging through each song’s themes and lyrics.
